This puzzle is called: "Obsession, an apparently simple puzzle.

Publisher: "NV Smeets + Schippers"

The puzzle has a Dutch, English, German and France description in the inside of the cover:

"Most puzzles, even the most difficult, can be done by going by the colours and the picture represented on them. Obsession is different. This puzzle consists of triangles of equal size. No "town- or seascapes" here, but merely 4 figures which are repeated and can form the whole puzzle in one way only. This puzzle will obsess you once you start it and you will soon discover that appearances are deceptive."

There are no less than 30 (!!) triangles to match together with this puzzle. Four figures are used.

This puzzle is called: "Beeldpuzzeltje" It's an advertising puzzle from the photo paper brand Kodak.

Copyrights: "K & K, Druinen 1984. Cato Johnson, Amsterdam 1984."

The puzzle has a Dutch description on the back site of the sleeve:

"A funny free mind game from your photo retailer. Place the nine pieces next to each other so that the pictures match and together they form one big square."

there are 9 square pieces in this puzzle. Four different pictures are used.

This puzzle is called: "SHU-TAI" It's an Chinese cardgame and puzzle.

The puzzle was published by Bruna, before 1986.

The puzzle has a Dutch description on one side of the box:

"Shu-Tai consists of 3 sets of 25 cards. With every set a square of 5x5 cards can be made... it's unknown how many possibilities are possible."

On the cards there are 6 different figures. One in each corner of the cards. The goal is to form cat's and mice.

This puzzle is called: "WA-extra traject puzzel" It's an advertising puzzle from Nationale-Nederlanden Insurance company.

The puzzle was published by Van der Laken B.V. in 1977. pat. pend.

The puzzle has a Dutch description on the sleeve:

"When you put the four squares together, no matter how, a roadmap is created. The object is to find the correct way from the arrow to the circle. You can only use the orange roads, and in the harbor area, also the tunnel and the ferry. But look out, everywhere on the road there are curtain risks. these risks must be avoided. Also it's forbidden to pass an insurance office, because that would be obvious and easiest way to go. There is one solution."

The puzzle consists of 4 cards, which are printed on both sides.

This puzzle is called: "Rubik's Tangle Puzzle" It's probably one of the most difficult matching puzzles. There are a couple of different versions of this puzzle.

The classic version consists of 25 cardboard cards. There are four different puzzles: "Tangle 1,2,3 and 4". There is also a "mini tangle" which consists of 9 paper cards, these puzzles were produced in 1990. In 1999 Rubik made this puzzle from plastic. Again he made the puzzle with 9 pieces, only this time he used both sides of the puzzle. If you want to try this puzzle, there is an online playable version at the online puzzles page of my site.
