The Puzzle collection of Maarten Vermaak.

On this page you can find the Rubik's puzzles which are in my collection. Some are still missing. Maybe you can help me to find the missing puzzles.

This is Erno Rubik. Not only did he create the cube puzzle, but also a lot of other puzzles were made by him. in 1990 four of them were chosen to form the first collection of the master's work. In 1993 a small selection of 4 puzzles was made to give the public the best of Rubik's Puzzles. At present, Erno Rubik and his company have a beautiful website, were classic and new puzzles gathered. All with a new look.

Rubik's products 2000

Not all of Rubik's puzzles are mentioned in the above sections. Some puzzles, like Rubik's Magic puzzle. have successors. Others were sold separately. Here is a list of the puzzles in my collection

This is Rubik's Clock puzzle. There are 9 clocks on both sides of the puzzle. the object is to turn all clocks to 12-o-clock. When I was 12 years old, I got this puzzle from my grandfather. My father thought I couldn't solve it in 10 days. He was willing to bet fl.25,- for it, what is a lot for a little boy. The next day the puzzle was solved, and I was a rich little boy.

This is another version of Rubik's Clock puzzle. It's called Rubik's Intelligence Compass. I don't know if this puzzle is rare, but this is the only one I've ever seen. I've bought this one at the Dutch Cube day in 2001. I've paid fl.. 7,50 for it. That's just a little bit more than € 3,- I guess I was lucky to be early.

This is Rubik's Domino puzzle. It's a 2x3x3 cube puzzle. It was only produced for a very short time. Probably because the meganism isn't very good. It turns very difficult, and it can damage easily. I've bought mine on a flee-market for fl. 1,- that's about € 0,50. Probably the best deal I've ever made.

This is Rubik's Rubik's Master Magic puzzle. It's like the normal Magic puzzle, only this one has 12 tiles instead of 8. It is said there is also a 16 tiles puzzle. But I've never seen it.

This is Rubik's Mini Tangle puzzle. It's like the normal tangle puzzles with 25 tiles, but this puzzle has only 9 tiles. The pieces are printed on a small sheet of paper and are perforated on the edges, for easy tearing. Although there are only 9 pieces, but 23.781.703.680 combinations are still possible. I have made an online puzzle of this one, check it out.

Well, this is all for know. Maybe I will add a couple more puzzles soon.
